Greetings,
If you find yourself here it is no doubt because you have an interest in that most famous and elusive medieval order, the Knights Templar. Just who were they? What secrets were they really guarding? What was their purpose? Are they still with us or not? You are a Seeker of Truth. That Truth is buried deep....perhaps deeper than any have yet dug. No doubt some know some of that Truth...many seek for it...others protect it...whilst others would try to surpress and outright destroy that Truth.
In this blog I shall examine many of the legends and myths associated with this order...sifting through established fact and supposition to find truths that are there to be found by those who are not afraid to dig in often dark places. I shall also examine the enduring legacy of these warrior-monks in our modern conciousness. Why does their tale still hold such sway over our hearts and minds.
I shall share my own observations, review books, examine the way they are represented in our modern media of film, TV and fiction, and dig into the shady depths of their mysterious origins and on into the current era...and beyond.
They are calling to us from our past...let us take up the Sword of Truth and the Armour of Faith and set forth on our quest.
